About Us

Light Art, a comprehensive lighting store in Durango, opened in 2002 and is the "sister" store to Tile Art which opened in 1991. Both Tile Art and Light Art are owned by Paul and Jackie Beasley and operated by them and their staff. Paul and Jackie purchased Tile and Light Art in May of 2012. Paul and Jackie are long time residents of Colorado. They are active members of the Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado, Durango Rotary Club, Durango Chamber of Commerce, Local First and Habitat for Humanity.

Light Art's staff continues their lighting education through certification courses for lighting professionals to stay up to date on new products, technologies and industry standards. Light Art is a member of the American Lighting Association. They offer both on-site and in-house design appointments where clients get one-on-one personalized attention to assist with product selection and layout to achieve their vision. Paul, Jackie and their experienced staff can help design, sketch, and combine your vision with the right product and application to achieve your dream.
